My case details are as follows:
Case Category : F4.
Consulate processing my case : Mumbai.
Case forwarded from NVC to Mumbai consulate : 28th May, 2003.
Mumbai consulate enters case in it's system : 04th June, 2003.
Priority date : 06th Feb., 1991.
Is there anyone (with F4 case) who has received an interview date from the Mumbai consulate for October ?
I would appreciate if you can post the details of the same..
It's been a couple of months since my case got transferred to Mumbai. The reason for the delay was the
retrogression of the India F4 priority dates. Now that the NVC is going to publish priority dates for October;
I am waiting for my priority date to get current. The NVC has told that the priority date of India F4 can
be expected to advance for the month of October. Before the retrogression, the priotiy date for India F4
was July, 1991.
How does the Mumbai consulate schedule appointments for the following month ? Employment based category people
have already got their appointments for October. So why don't they (Mumbai consulate) give appointments for F4
based cases? Is it that the Mumbai consulate schedules people with F4 cases after the NVC publishes the Visa
Bulletin for the following month?
