  • I-130 Approved, I'm in Canada

I am currently residing in Canada. My husband filed and I-130 for me and it has been approved. Here is the catch, the petition was filed in the US, I was still in the US when it was filed. I have since returned to Canada to visit relatives. The I-130 was approved in March. We were planning on filing a K-3 fiance visa but have been advised we cannot do that. Before I left the US, I submitted a change of address form to Washington to let them know my address has changed temporarily. My question is what do we file now? Do we file an I-824, and wait for the US consulate in Canada to get a hold of me. Or, will the I-130 that was approved have already sent a copy of this approval to the consulate in Canada. Either way, is there anyway of me returning to the US, we don't have any other files waiting for approval. Is there anyway I could get over on a visitor visa. I have a lot of question the INS is not able to answer for me, I thought I would try here.
    Thank you very much
