I was wondering. Would you be able to help me with some immigration questions I have?

My wife and I married in Dec 1st 2000

We started her petition for adjustment of status in January 2001.

Unfortunately, her mother became ill and was in intensive care in mexico. She had to leave the country.

Now, our current lawyer says she cannot re-enter until her adjustment of status is complete.

Now to throw another wrench into it. She will be having my baby on the 31st of this month.

I would like to know, how can I get her and the baby into the country before her interview?

My current lawyer says it will be 3 to 5 months more for the interview, and I'll need to file additional documents for my baby at the US consulate in Mexico.

PLEASE HELP, as I am desperate to have my family back with me.

You have not provided enough information. What was your wife's status in US when filed her Adjust. of Status?

Are you US citizen or green card holder? If you are US citizen, your child born in Mexico still can get US citizenship. You have to file some paperwork in US consulate.
