F2B petition approved but petitioner died

My mother petitioned me (1997) and it was approved and i was given a priority date of may 1997. Unfortunately, my mother died and I got married last year 2004. How do these situations will affect my eligibility?

I'm sorry about your mom. Immigration lawyers have said that once the petition was approved there is still a chance however am not sure about the part now that you're married...pettion was approved before mom's passing as a unmarried child..now U R married this is a different category. Check the web site westindaintube there's a lawyer's video clip there...I think I got my information from him...not sure can't remember.
