H1-B marrying GC holder

I am on a H1-B visa and my fiancee is a green card holder.
I have already applied for my employeer based GC in November 2004.
Can I file two simultaneous applications one family based and another employeer based.
What's the best thing to do after getting married?As per my understanding I still need to maintain my H1-B status and can't file for any adjustments to status based on my husbands GC.

Any suggestions, what are the rules.

You can continue both the petitions in parallel.

Once you file I-485, you don't need to maintain H1 status. However, you will required EAD and AP to work and travel.
