With the duty that fairly exceeds the price paid to be remitted on these appliances, it is in the best interest to dispose everything.

The story would be different for people that the company sends as expat. My ex-employer paid thousands for such people including shipping all their belongings overseas. No wonder they are close to bankruptcy.
