I live and work in Missisauga,ON on a work permit. I recently sent my passport to Buffalo to have the consulate re-issue a TRV for me.
I got a call from them saying that they would be sending my passport back to me, but would not be using the prepaid Fedex Envelope that I had sent in. They said that they would be sending the passport by regular mail. They also sent me an email after this to confirm. The passport was supposedly sent out to me on the 29th of Jan.
I still haven't gotten my passport in the mail and am beginning to get worried. Is there a chance that it's lost? Has anyone else been through the same thing?
Pls let me know I am extremely worried. I just wrote to Buffalo asking them for more details but haven't got a response at the time of writing.
