DUI - Was planning R2I - How to come back for any court appearance
Hi,
I am on L1 visa working in Houston. Few weeks back, I got arrested for DUI. No accident, injuries, child passenger, etc. In fact, I think my BAC might even be less than 0.08.
I was planning to go back to India for good in Aug 2015 and had already made most of the preparations. Now, I really don't want to change the plans, but at the same time I wish to keep my records clean.
My plan is to apply and get B1/B2 visa as soon as I reach India to travel for any potential court appearances. Is this feasible?
Or, is there any other simple solution other than cancelling my R2I in Aug?
