You need a strong immigration layer,you pled guilty for second offense,immigration law see this like multiply alcohol related offense and they can put you in removal procedure..see "mater of castilo peres"..I wouldn't apply for n400 yet -
2 alcohol related arrests
Hello all,
I was arrested in 2013 for a DUI and 2 years ago for public intoxication that was 6 months later dismissed (deferred dismissal, I believe). Young and stupid.
I'm well into my 5 year GC period. Will this cause issues with my N-400? Will I need a lawyer, or is this pretty straight-forward and not necessary? I was going to file this myself, but now I'm concerned.
Thank you in advance for any advice/opinions/experiences.
