Criminal conviction in native country

Hey,
I have been convicted of driving without a license in Germany. Here, German Authorities take such an offence very serious whereas in the States I heard they consider it to be a misdemeanour.

What are the odds of still being able to get a Visa (I’m thinking about temporary and immigration Visas “GreenCards”)
