I don't think that matters. I have been out of processing time 3 times. I'm sep 14th.

Does everyone here that haven't got EAD filed i 131 as well? I'd appreciate it if you say where you are from. thanks!

to be honest I don't think country of origin matters for EAD nor I 131. I really think is down to Field Officer assigned to your case.

              • All EAD CARD will be processed in national benefits center. Nothing to do with field office.

                • I had an info pass appointment yesterday since it's been more than 7 months. The lady that helped me talked to her supervisor and they said I need to be patient. They added a note on my case to expedite it. It looks like someone at NBC was assigned to my case. But still nothing...

One more thing, they said if you call USCIS, they will add your note on your case in NBC, but if you go to any other office for info pass, they will not have access to your case to add notes on it. So, it's better to call them. However, we have an inquiry for more than 30 days ago.

could you tell me how to get through on the phone? when I called I could not figure out which options to select on the menu to talk about expediting...

If they did submit a expedite request for you, you'd better start think about which category you are in and prepare all supporting documents. Because you will receive an email or letter from USCIS ask you to fax all documents.

I think jcimmoca is referring to case inquiry for outside of normal processing time. Not expedite for the usual reason under https://www.uscis.gov/us-visa-and-im...edite-criteria

                              • It's discouraging to check in every day and still see no progress, even for people who filed before us. I've read that EAD renewals take longer. That's bad news for everyone waiting on a renewal because we're waiting for our first here and it's been 202 days so far.
