Who approves the EAD for marriage GC AOS applications

Hello!
If we file all of the forms I130A, I485, EAD request form, Advance Parole request form all together, what are the next steps until the EAD gets approved? Im trying to understand why the National Benefits Center is so backlogged right now.

Am I correct in that after they receive your package then you will be scheduled for your biometrics. Once your Biometrics come back clear THEN your EAD will be processed? Or are there other things they need to check before they issue your EAD? Does your I130/I130A AND I 485 also have to be approved before the EAD is produced?

I came here to ask a similar question. Some EADs get processed very fast compared to those at NBC. I don't know how they decide which ones go to NBC, California, Texas, Nebraska, Vermont, or Potomac. I just wish mine wasn't with NBC.

I am keen to follow this thread too. I am about to file for my EAD renewal - timelines in my signature. As a Houston, TX based applicant my I-765/I-131 renewal will either go to NBC or Texas Service center - will only know when I get the receipt numbers (MSC is NBC and SRC is Texas service center).

I hope mine will go to Texas Service center whose processing time as of this post is 1.5 to 5 months. NBC processing time for EAD based on pending I-485 C(9) AOS is 5.5 to 7.5 months as of this post date. I have applied on the dot 6 months prior to my EAD expiry - hope I don't lose my job due to this renewal timeline. My employer won't accept a pending I-765 to continue to be employed.
