  • EAD combo card taking forever (Texas SC)

I feel like there isn’t anyone working at the TEXAS CENTER.
It has been 4 months since we filed for i-140, i-485, i-785 and AP. Fingerprints done and nothing ever since.
The attorney said it would take a maximum of 90 days for the combo card to be mailed.
So I’m about to call them and ask for expediting. The reason would be I need a SSN to be a normal human here.
Can we send them all credit and health insurance denials for not having a number?
Maybe we can apply to work there at immigration to help expedite the processing?lol. Clearly there’s a shortage of people. This waiting is insane. Life in the US without a SSN is pretty much non-existent. Not to mention we are stuck in here not being able to travel.

Same here, ours is at NBC. Received March 12, no updates past March 18 which is Case Received and Finger Print Fee Accepted. My husband needs his EAD, his job ended June 30 and new one was supposed to start July 1. He finally talked to congressman’s office last week to expedite for financial hardship. Getting super frustrated.

I know, it doesn’t even matter because it means nothing. They can put pretty much any date on there, doesn’t mean they are actually processing cases. Even the uscis rep told my husband that’s just an estimate and doesn’t mean they should have processed our case.

This is depressing, filed with priority date June 5, NBC sounds like it’ll be Christmas before we get anywhere.

Just updating that we got notice this morning that our EAD's were approved and card is in production! It has been a long and stressful wait. Now hoping the card gets delivered soon so my husband can start his job.

So it’s been a month later I posted this and still I’ve got nothing from USCIS. I’m getting a bit crazy here. Just opened a SR and let’s pray for a quick response.
