EAD Renewal finally approved

Our I-485 based EAD has finally been approved and the card has been ordered.

2019-02-11 Form accepted.

2019-08-26 Approved and new card ordered.

This is at NBC (Lees Summit, MO?). So close to 7 months. We will immediately be filing for the next renewal.

UPDATE:

Received the card today but it’s EAD only. It’s not a combo card even though both I-765 and I-131 were filed together. The case status on egov site shows no update for the I-131 (which was the case the first time).

I FINALLY received mine today as well.
You probably did check that, but on the bottom of the card says in bold and capital letters "SERVES AS I-512 ADVANCE PAROLE."

Yup. The new one clearly said not valid for reentry so I noticed it right away.

I hope they'll fix it sending a new one with both.
You mentioned that this is a renewal card and that you will renew again. How many time can you renew your ead? This is my first one.

Well, the reason we renewed in the first place is because our I-485 application has languished since October 2017 without an interview. I really hope we hope we won’t need to renew the damn EAD again.

Our attorney has run out of options and even an inquiry by one of our senators failed to get any action (an interview appointment).
