EAD approval for minors but not parents!

I filed form i485/i765/i131 for myself and 8 year old son. USCIS PD is August 15, 2019. My son received his Combo card on August 28 and I am still at “case received”! How fair is that?

Nov 2018 - Package sent - EB - Texas Service Center
Day 1 - Package received at the lockbox
Day 999 - Card delivered to me - Aug 2021
