Pregnancy and green card based on employment

Hi

I am on L1B visa and my company is planning to start the green card process for me.
I can't find anywhere information (and really don't want to ask at work);can they stop or hold the process because I am pregnant?

For now I am just planning pregnancy so I don't know if they can stop or hold the process if I am pregnant or
later on maternity leave.
