Hello,
I am currently in L1A Visa which got expired on June 2012, but have a valid I94 till Dec 2013. I will be requesting my company to process my GreenCard, but I have a few questions regarding the same:
1. Will my GC application filing be valid if I my company transfers me back to India just after filing it....or after how many days can I move to India without effecting my GC processing?
2. After how many days from filing my GC, can I change my employer?
3. Once the GC is processed, can I apply for the Consular processing/change of status from India....and also when can I get back to USA since my L1 is already expired.
4. What might be the approx processing time of the GC if I fall into EB1 category....
5. And, is a Master's degree essential for getting into EB1 category?
6. When do I get the EAD after filing for the Greencard?
Any information on the above points will be highly appreciated.
