  • EB2 Eligibility.

    Hello,

    I have 10 yr (Secondary School-SSC) + 3 yr (Diploma in Mechanical Engineering-DME) + 3 (Bachelors in Computer Applications-BCA) = 16 yrs

I have 13 yrs of IT industry experience and around 2 yrs in Non-IT.

Will I be eligible for EB-2 Category.

    Thanks in advance.

Its not going to be easy.

Get your degrees evaluated. If your educational evaluation says you have equivalent to BS degree of US then talk to your attorney and discuss.

This is my opinion not legal advice.

If the BCA normally takes 3 years, then no. If it usually takes 4 years but you did it in 3 because of previous diploma, then maybe. You need to get the BCE evaluated. If, by itself, it is considered equivalent to Bachelor’s degree, then you may qualify for EB-2.
