My Visa an I-94 expired at the end of Nov, My company has filed for my L1A extension. Can they go ahead and file for my GC before they hear on my L1A extension or have to wait for the extension to b approved before they can file for the GC? Also once the GC is file (EB1 category), can I stay in the US irrespective of my L1A extension status or will there be an impact if my L1A extension is denied and what will be th impact?

chances of filing GC in EB1 category
1. Can my company file for my GC while L1A extension is still pending or they have to get a verdict on L1A extension before they can file?
2. In case they can file GC without having to wait for L1A extension, does the out come of L1A extension impact already file GC processing and do I have to leave the US?
