  • Professional Engineer - GC

    Guys,

I am a master's degree holder from India.

Working in USA for 6 years as R&D engineer for a company.

I am a Licensed Professional Engineer.

Can I apply GC under EB1? (Will my PE certification help to get it?)

Yes. I think you can apply for a green card under EB1. However with your experience I would recommend looking at getting another position once you do get your green card. I think you have great potential to do other work at another company. Many people are looking for the experience that you have. When I was looking for work long term, the employment agency that helped me out the most was Employment Crossing. I was able to get a job in just a few weeks. It didn't happen right away. But I was given access to lots of great tools to help me on my job search.

Best of luck to you on your way to getting your GC.
