UGreen card through employment + Upgrade petition after marriage.??

Hi,

I am on a L1 visa for 3 years till May 2009. My company will start the green card process for me under EB-3/EB-2 Category in June 2007. (Labor certification + I-140 petition)

However my fiance(who is currently a permanent resident here) will be eligible for US citizenship in Feb 2008.
We have plans to get married in US but the date is not fixed yet.

Now
1) Is it possible to create a new petition after marriage, if my company has already triggered the green card processing?

2) What are the pros and cons of getting married before my fiance's citizenship.

Which is the quick and best option for me.
