Does employer cheat me ???
Hi all,
Can please somebody help me?
I have a contract with an US employer that sponsors my EB2-GC.
I just got the PERM approval and the next step is I140/I485.
The employer does not want to apply to I140 while I am outside US. He wants me to come in US with a business visa and then apply for the I140. He said that the process will speed up if I will be in US.
I don't understand why he does not want to apply to I140 while I am outside US and force me to come there. How can I be sure that he will continue the GC process and don't keep me there with a temporary work permit ?
