I-140 approved and H1-B expired while in India
Hi,My question is:
If I go back to India with approved I-140, before 6 months of my H1-B expiring (i.e without filing for H1B extension in US), how will it affect my Green Card process? What are my options?

Dont think it would affect your green card processing. Tell your employer that due to family problems, you need to relocate to India and ask them if they would keep the green card process on. The 485 doesnt look it gonna be current anytime soon so it could be years before your employer can file 485. By that time if you get a great job in India, you would'nt need the green card at all.
