EB2 Eligibility

I graduated in 2000 and did MS in USA, now I am planning to use one of friends EB2 labor which was filed in 2004 June and is current now, the job description asks BS in Computer Science and 5 years of IT experience, now my question is can I use my friends labor? As I spoke to few people they said if I am substituting labor I should be having 5 years of experience prior to 2004 June which is the Labor application date, is it true?
