Wife out of status for 2 years

Hi,
I am in the process of applying for I-485.
My wife was here on F1.
After working on her PT for a year,
she went back to school to persue another masters.
But in the process did not apply for extension of her F1 status and enrolled for courses.
For 2 yrs she was out of status.
Left the country for 1 yr and she is back here on H4 status.
How would this impact her or my I-485 process.

Any help is greatly appriciated.
