Green Card - Cross country chargeability

Hi,

I am applying for my green card. Both myself and wife are Indian citizens and holding Indian passports but my wife born in Middle East. She is house wife and on H4. Will her place of birth can play any role in getting green card?

Yes. You can have cross country chargeability and you can come under the quota of that middle east country. As you might know, there are max. quotas for each country.
