  • GC - Moving out of state

I 'm working with a product development company in TEXAS. My company has applied GC for me. My labor has cleared 8 months back and I 'm in I-140 stage now.

Now my company might move me to other branches (due to business reasons) either in GA or FL.

    Question:
    1. Is this move going to have any affect on my GC application as I 'm still in I-140 stage and my labor application has job description of TX.
    2. When is the good time to move (in terms of GC processing stage), if it is NOT advisable now?
    3. Since this is not a job change, is there any work around?

    Thanks in advance

GC is for future employment. As long as the PERM position exists as described when the company filed your PERM/Labor, I think you can move. When you get the GC, you should assume the roles and responsibility at the location specified on PERM.

This is my opnion. Other members please correct this if this is wrong.
