Employment based green card?

I am an indian born naturalized australian citizen.I want to move to usa on green card.I have an employer in USA who will sponsor me for green card.I know that it takes very long time for people of India, china and philpines to move to usa on employment based green card beause of their priority date is not current.I want to ask that how will my priority date be considered as an australian citizen.Do i have to wait in the long Inidan queue?.Will I have any advantage being an australian citizen, and my case will be be processed faster than Inidan?.

country of birth matters, not the current citizenship ...

Further if you have Masters degree, now a days it is moving fast.
