Is my Employer cheating

Hi Guys,

My Employer is based in New Jersey. He says that, he has started my GC process and he has filled my labor.
For the labor certificate he has given a news paper add...

But the best part of the whole story is, he has not asked for any paper work, and I have not signed any papers, can he file labor without my signatures on any paper?

Question - How long should it take for the labor, if I work in NY ?

Question - Once, the labor gets approved, can he file for I-140 immediately ?

With the perm process, signature happens after the labor is approved and before filing for the I140. I140 can be applied immediately after labor approval.
