Green Card Process with another employer

Hi,

I have an approved I-140 with employer A. I have a job offer from company B but they are not ready to sponsor my green card right away. They will do it after one year. Is it important to start my green card process with them right away or I can wait till one year?

Usually most companies will wait for a year before they can start the green card process. How much time you have left on your H1B to complete your 6 years , if you have less than a year left then it will good to push employer B to start process right now as it takes 6-8 months for just perm approval.
