J-1 --> i-485 (aos)

Hi,

I am currently on H-1B (EB2 India with PD of October 2007). My wife is on H-4.

An employer is willing to sponsor her J-1 visa to work in the research institute.

My question is , if she is on J-1 visa can she be added to my I-485 application (and obtain EAD , etc) when my dates become current? Will it affect my Greencard status?
