Company A bought Company X. Company X is operating as separate entity as "Company X, an A Company".
I am currently working with company A for 5 years and trying to apply for GC in EB2 (trying to port the date from an earlier EB3 application from company A). But company A had recent layoffs. In order to continue with the application, I could:
1. Quit Company A
2. Join company X
3. File GC
Under these circumstances, what will happen for the following?
1. H1B transfer has to happen before I quit company A?
2. Will I get 3 years H1b (i am in 7th year with EB3-I140 approval from Company A) extension when filed from company X?
3. Can I use my years of experience gained with Company A in preparing the job description from Company X?
4. What needs to happen once company X completely merges with Company A and assumes Company A's name?
