India travel during Green Card application pending

Hi ,

Currently I am in H1B Visa. But need to stamp it whenever leave the country .

1) If my employer applies green card for me , then can I travel India during when my green card application is pending .

2) Whether It can jeopardize my H1B Visa stamping ?

I shall be glad if anyone provide me the info.
