EB3 India Sep2011 prediction

Hello,
I am using this forum for the first time. My employer recently filed my greencard (EB3 India with PD sept 2011). I wanted to get an idea on when I should be expecting my Greencard.

The short answer is - nobody can tell.

Take this month's visa bulletin - EB3, India, they're processing PD 22 Jul 02 - 9 years, 3 months ago.

You could take that date as a reference - your PD then would be current by 2020. Or something may change *for the better* (very unlikely) and you may be able to apply for AOS in a couple years. Or something may change *for the worse* and you may be still waiting come 2035.

I don't know what your expectations are - but if I was you, I would hope for 2020.

On the positive side - you can keep extending your H1B or L1 'til your PD becomes current.

Thanks for your reply. I was actually seeing * which indicates people whose PD is July 2009 can expect their dates going current on 2031!! - by that means PD of sept 2011 would be nowhere around 2020.

Don't know how well the estimations of that website is though.
