I-485 interview and I-551 Stamping

Hi

I have applied for Greencard for my Spouse. He had his I-485 Interview this morning , however his passport was not stamped..

The officer said that he would get the Greencard in the mail in a month..Is this normal. he has not given us any reasons for not stamping the passport..


Any help would be appreciated..

Yes it's true you have to wait for a while but you will be happy it will be there in a month or so, mine took more than a month I think. Dont worry

I will have same interview I-485 at the end of this month. Would you pls let me know what kind of question’s you were asked? What if you are not able to provide the document they ask except marriage certificate , bank document and water bill? Any advice will help pls.We do not have auto insurance together.

yes it is very normal now a days, my mom and wife got the card in less than 2 weeks.
