I am on h1b in us,my father file for me undef f2b category in 2003 ,From online case status I know that my case is approved. After once case is approved how much time it takes to process for green card ?



Meanwhile my father now became us citizen ,so any benefit I got on that f2b category file or I have to file again under f2a?


So How much time it takes in both situation ,because I want to get out from this h1b.So anybody has any idea I will be very thank full.

The current cut-off date for f2b is april 96 for India which means
you should get your visa number in 2012.

Once your father is a citizen, the f2b is automatically converted to f1 (current cut off date april 01), which means you will get the visa a lot sooner than f2b.

Refer to the state dept visa bulletin which shows the cut off dates
for all categories updated monthly;
