Need advise regarding GC card apply

I am currently in H1b and I got married to a US citizen. Right now I want to apply for GC through my wife. My wife don't have enough earning to sponsor me, that's why my mother - in-law is planning to sponsoring me. My question
is which form I should use for sponsor is it, 864 or 864A.If my mother-in-law sponsor me , Do you think still my wife has to fill up the form (864).
