I'm having trouble filling in the form I-864 for my husband.
I am a US citizen through my Dad, who came to live in the UK many years ago. I've only been to the US on vacations, so I do not have a social security number. I've looked up how to apply for one, but apparently I need to apply in person.
My US SSN is required in part 4, question 10.
I'm currently having my Dad be a joint sponsor for my husband as my income would be too low, so he is filling out the form I-864a.
Same goes for acquiring Federal Tax returns, as I have never lived or worked in the US yet.
Any help as to how I should go about my situation would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
