Changing Employment after i1-140 approval

Hello,
My husband got his i-140 from his current employer recently. His employer has not shared any i140 details with him except copy of i1797 form. He may change his job in future and would like to use his current PD for filing new PERM and application with his future employer. My question is can he change the job , whatever the information is provided to him by his current employer , can his future company use his current PD date?

Yes. He can change jobs, but it is prudent to get a copy of I-140 as well as an experience letter before you quit. You will be able to use the older priority date after your I-140 is approved with the new employer, if your old employer does not revoke the ongoing petition. In my case they did not.
