Has any one gone through the process of changing the name in passport, petetion and visa for any reason like last name change after marriage?
I know that we can get a new passport with changed name from India consulate and it should be straight process - /indian-passport-services-in-usa/
I wanted to find out some details about the name change in H1-B and Visa. I know that there is an amendment process required in H1-B. Then possibly the change can be reflected in SSN and then in the driving license as well.
It would be helpful if you can share your experience of change of name while being in USA on a visa.Thanks
