I-140 Receipt date

My laywer says, he had filed my I-140 in 1st week of Sep, But has not got the receipt yet? Can that be true? How long does it take to get the receipt nos? Does the reciept contain the EAC nos also ?

It depends. In my case it took 2 months. So, I suggest wait for some more time and check with your lawyer.
