Change from EB3 to EB2

Hi

My LC is filed under Eb2 and got cleared but during process of my I-140 USCIS changed from EB2 to EB3 and my I-140 is approved under EB3 with priority date in Feb 2007.
My employer says that we can again file for another LC and I-140 for EB2 and can move to the priority date of Feb 2007.
Is it possible to do that in that way?I have Masters Degree and 10 years of experience until now.

Possible if the job qualifies for a EB2.
