Medicaid effect on GC Process/ Safe time to switch job

Hi

I filled for my GC from FL, Fort Lauderdale.I just filed for 140 & 485.

Question 1. If I apply for Medicaid for my kid , does it effect my GC?

Question 2.What it best time to switch job?Is there any limitation by location of job?

If you are taking MEDICAID that probably means you are jobless ....It may cause problems.I do not know if INS gets any information from Medicaid. You should be with the employer for 180 days after 140 approval.
