Leaving US border I-140 get impact?

Hi,

My H1B max out is Dec-2021. But I am leaving US border in Feb-2021. Because my current visa is expiring on Feb-11. Will it impact my I-140 which is about to file. Waiting for PERM approval. Thx

Hi,
Travelling outside while I-140 is pending will not impact. But please make sure, you have valid H1B Approval during that time... If you have short term travel plan, you can file I-140 once you reach back to country..
