experience letter for I140,I485

Hello everyone:

1. Do we need experience letter from previous employer for filing I140 and I 485?

2. what if they are not ready to give the experience letter,in case if one switches to other company? please need your experiences.

experience letters for I140,I485

I was requested to produce my experience letters for my Labour certification and some of the companies which I worked in my past, was not in operation anymore. I took a long route in getting some experience letters from my previous Managers to whom I worked with. They are kind enough to issue the same, though it took time.

In the mean time, my company found a labour substitution and filed my I140 and I485. The hard work I did in gathering those experience letters became a waste as my attornies do not required them anymore.

You can check with your attorney's when it is exactly required as they differ in nature.
