Iam an Australian Citizen holding valid H1B visa till Oct 2007. I have applied for my Indian Dual Citizenship last year and it got approved now. I have been asked to send my Australian Passport to the Indian Consulate in Australia (since i've applied over there ) to get it stamped (OCI Card).
I checked with the Australian Consulate here in USA and they advised me it's not a big deal in issuing the new passport , if anything goes wrong. Pls advise me, what's the procedure for getting H1B stamping on my new passport ?
