PIO Card

Hi,

I have baby boy born in USA 4 months ago. I have his US Passport with birthcertificate. I am in process to apply for his PIO card for India. Due to some emergency I need to send him to India with my mother in-law within 10 days. Kindly tell me can he visit India for 3-4 monts on mother in-law's passport? or is there any other process by which he can go to India as we have only 10 days.

Baby can't travel on mother-in-law's passport.

The best thing I suggest is that you visit the nearest Indian consulate in person and get visa for baby, on the same day. Details at
