URGENT - Indian visa without Indian passport renunciation -- URGENT

I have an urgent travel coming up soon and my US Citizenship oath ceremony is in 2 days. I already postponed it three times. I do not want to postpone it anymore. I am planning to apply for Emergency US Passport which will come in 2-3 days. Can I apply for India visa with active India passport? Passport renunciation and OCI card takes time. So, I want to apply for evisa as soon as I I get my US passport. evisa application has passport renunciation questionnaire. What should I fill it? Should I say the renunciation is in process? My travel is related to medical emergency. It may happen anytime.
Has anyone applied for evisa with active Indian passport?
Has anyone traveled to India on evisa while the Indian passport is still active?
Will I get an emergency visa if there is some medical emergency?

Please suggest. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Did that work out SGR82 ? From google search it seems you can travel on Indian passport for 3 months after oath without any penalty. What did you finally do?
