OCI renewal procedure regarding

Hello Sir/Madam,

I read the recent press release on the OCI renewal criteria. I am reading the procedure to apply for renewal. It says

"It is mandatory to upload Applicant's image and Applicant's signature image during OCI-Registration."

How do you make this Applicant's signature image? Can anyone throw some light on this?

Also a standard 2 inch x 2 inch photo in Walmart/CVS etc. would work or is there anything special about these photos?
How we do ensure the pixel requirements mentioned?

1. The height and width of the Applicant Photo must be equal.
   • The minimum dimensions are 200 pixels (width) x 200 pixels (height).
   • The maximum dimensions are 1500 pixels (width) x 1500 pixels (height).
2. The height and width of the Signature Photo must have aspect ratio 1:3
   • The minimum dimensions are 200 pixels (width) x 67 pixels (height).
   • The maximum dimensions are 1500 pixels (width) x 500 pixels (height).

Any help on the above by someone who has gone through this process will be greatly helpful.

How do you make this Applicant's signature image? Can anyone throw some light on this?
Answer:

1) Buy stamp pad black/blue. He (left thumb impression)/She(right thumb impression) in plain sheet. Then scan the sheet as .jpg file. name it as mspaint1.jpg
2) Open new mspaint tool and create white image put image size as 200 pixel width and 67 pixel Height. File name as mspaint2.jpg
3) Now open mspaint1.jpg file. Select thumb impression and make a copy.
4) Open mspaint2.jpg file then paste it. thumb impression should place with in 200X67 then save it. now your Applicant's signature image is ready.

Actually I applied OCI-reissue on renewed passport (12/09/2019) for NY center.
