Passport - Application Rejection - Incorrect Government Form

Hi Team,

I received an email from CKGS ‘You have applied under WASHINGTON DC Jurisdiction on the Government Passport website, which is incorrect. Your application will be returned.Please re-apply under SAN FRANCISCO Jurisdiction.’ They have already dispatched my application along with the Original Documents. Will I need to go through the entire application process again? Or do I just need to re-apply under SFO jurisdiction on the passport application website? Will I receive a refund if its the former?

- You should receive the refund minus the shipping costs as the CKGS website is the same, just consulate jurisdiction is different.
- The application form will be the same, but you must check for additional forms / consulate specific requirements on the website.
